Important enrolment information! (as at 6 August)

Please note! Effective immediately, we require you to provide both sides of your driver licence and your NSN in advance to demonstrate your eligibility for your chosen course. If you don't know your NSN, please call NZQA on 0800697296; they will ask for your legal name and date of birth.

If you do not have an NSN, we will require both sides of your driver licence AND a copy of your birth certificate OR passport to locate or create an NSN for you, at a charge of $40.00 including GST.

This is a new requirement set by the Industry Training Organisations and is non-negotiable.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Forklift 'F' Endorsement &/or new OSH certificate, approximately 6 hours - $350.00

OSH certificate renewal only, approximately 6 hours - $250.00

Wheels 'W', Tracks 'T' & Rollers 'R' Endorsements, approximately 4 hours - $500.00 (for two or three, $375.00 for one)

Dangerous Goods 'D' Endorsement, approximately 6 hours - $375.00

• Class 2 Full Licence, two days theory plus practical session/s - $1,300.00

• This course must be booked at least a week in advance. Payment of $300.00 is required at the time of registration, to confirm your booking and be issued the pre-course study material.

  • 0900 starts on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd December , plus practical/s

  • 0900 starts on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th December , plus practical/s

  • 0900 starts on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th December , plus practical/s

  • 0900 starts on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th January, plus practical/s (this course must be booked by Monday 6 January)
  • 0900 starts on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd January, plus practical/s
  • 0900 starts on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th January, plus practical/s

   

  Class 3 Full Licence - very rare course as Class 4 can be gained after Class 2, and getting Class 5 gets Class 3 automatically added to the licence.

  Price will vary and own Class 3 will need to be available for the practical sessions as Drive Right do not have a Class 3 vehicle.

  Class 4 Full Licence, two days theory plus practical session/s - $1,700.00

  Payment of the deposit is required at the time of registration, to confirm your booking and receive your study material to prepare for your course.

  PLEASE NOTE, PRACTICALS MAY NEED TO BE SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK

  If you have acceptable evidence of a previous Class 2 driving Course (including if you did your Class 2 with us) you may qualify for an abbreviated Class 4 option at a cost of $1,500.00 incl gst - this is booked one-on-one and not part of the above course dates - please contact us to discuss.

   

  Class 5 Full Licence, two days theory plus practical session/s - $2,050.00

  Payment of the deposit is required at the time of registration, to confirm your booking and receive your study material to prepare for your course.

  If you have acceptable evidence of a previous Class 2, 3 or 4 driving Course (including if you did one with with us) you may qualify for an abbreviated Class 5 option at a cost of $1,850.00 incl gst - this is booked one-on-one - please contact us to discuss.

   

  Vehicle Recovery 'V' Endorsement, one to two days - $700.00

  Payment of the deposit is required at the time of registration, to confirm your booking and receive your study material to prepare for your course.

  If you have acceptable evidence of a previous Class 2, 3, 4 or 5 driving Course (including if you did one with with us) you may qualify for an abbreviated V Endorsement option at a cost of $500.00 incl gst - this is booked one-on-one - please contact us to discuss.

   

  Our Fees:

  Our course fee covers the costs of all study and assessment materials, conducting your course, marking your theory assessments, loading the relevant NZQA credits, as well as for instructing you and assessing you in the vehicles (conditions apply).

  Course cost includes up to three hours supervised practical/drive time with an instructor in the relevant Class of vehicle (2, 4, 5.) Additional supervised practical/drive time with an instructor can be purchased if required. Please see our Course costs page for more information. 

  The practical lessons or assessments for Classes 1, 2, 4, and 5 can be in our vehicle or yours but it must be registered, warranted, of warrantable standard, and loaded to legal testing requirements if applicable. Contact us to discuss.  

  It is in your own interests to ensure that you study and understand any pre-course material we supply to you before you take the course and sit the assessments, to ensure that you are well prepared for the course and assessments and can complete in a reasonable time. If you have not prepared for your course you will be asked to rebook at a later time so that the instructor and other trainees are not inconvenienced.

  Course costs do not include external costs (e.g. medical or licensing agency costs) and are subject to change without notice.

  These are our set Course dates, they may change if required (e.g. if no bookings are made within the available booking time), and other Courses may be added that do not appear here.
